Best sounding cars need speed payback
In comparison to the Beetle (which likely will be interesting to mostly classic-car fans) the D-Series fills in MANY roles in the BeamNG community besides being a good truck. Add modding in, and I don't even know where the D-Series could go. *Several differentials, including locking diffs for rock-crawling *Several options on suspension, with everything from sporty to heavy-duty to Baja-ready. *The ability to strip your vehicle to the bare frame *Several tiny (and realistic) pieces, such as trim, brake pads, a bug shield, spare tires, badging, bullbars, spotlights, police lights, several paint designs, and much, MUCH more *No word yet on engine or drivetrain customization
*(likely) Hundreds of rims that all look rather similar So, if the Beetle is the most customizable vehicle in the game (it likely is), let's compare the options that have been shown to the D-Series's options: We'll see where this goes, but looking at NFS 2015's spread of customization doesn't give me much hope at all. I respect where EA/Ghost were going with the customization (the Beetle seemed to have quite a few options to go with), but I fear that this sort of customization will only be available on a few specific cars, leaving the rest to be subject to basic slammed tunes and hot-pink wraps. Looking at the customization video, I can't possibly imagine why I'd pick Need For Savings PayusBackfornotbuyingourpreviousgames over BeamNG.over9000ratedmodifying, where car customization is just.galaxy-blowing.
